DENTAL IMPLANTS & DENTURES

Are missing teeth making everyday activities such as eating, talking, and smiling difficult? Whether you’ve lost one or many teeth, dental implants could be a great solution to restore your smile’s appearance and functionality.

What Is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are small titanium posts that function as artificial tooth roots. They’re placed into your jawbone in the space of the missing tooth and are topped with a natural-looking tooth restoration. Implants are a popular, preferred tooth replacement method among patients and dentists alike. Once the implant fuses with your jawbone, a tooth restoration is attached to the top of your implant. Depending on your unique case, we’ll recommend a dental crown(s), dental bridge(s), or implant-supported denture to top off your implant(s).

Implant-Supported Dentures

Are your traditional dentures often uncomfortable and unreliable? With the help of implants, we can stabilize your dentures so they don’t shift and slip throughout the day. The dentures snap onto four or more implants and won’t budge until you choose to remove them. Implant-supported dentures save you from dealing with messy adhesives and potentially embarrassing fall outs. Crown & Bridge Restorations

If you’re missing one tooth or a few teeth in a row, a crown or bridge could be the perfect restoration choice for you. A dental crown is a single tooth restoration that attaches directly to your dental implant. A dental bridge is an appliance that “bridges” the gap in your smile if you’re missing multiple teeth in a row. The bridge attaches to implants on either side of the leftover space and contains false teeth that fill in the spots where your teeth are missing. We make sure the color of your crown or bridge matches with your surrounding teeth so it blends in with your natural teeth.

Benefits of Dental Implants

  • They are a permanent solution for tooth replacement.
  • They prevent bone loss.
  • They allow you to talk & eat with ease.
  • They look & feel like natural teeth.
  • They can last for years with proper care.
  • They can be brushed & flossed like your natural teeth.
  • They can support & hold dentures into place.

Traditional Dentures

We also offer both complete and partial traditional dentures that don’t require dental implants and are generally more cost-effective. Our complete dentures are for patients missing a full set of teeth on their upper or lower jaw. Complete dentures rest on your gums and are secured with a strong, safe adhesive. If you have one or a few teeth remaining, we can fit you for partial dentures. While they won’t be connected to dental implants, they’ll be fixed to your existing teeth for support.
